July 18 Update
Fans who are eagerly awaiting details on Pro Wrestling Guerrilla's seventh All Star Weekend need not wait any longer! All Star Weekend 7 is set to take place on Saturday, August 30 and Sunday, August 31 at American Legion Post #308 in Reseda, CA. Already announced for the event is that gravity (and grammar) defying PAC, "The Man That Gravity Forgot." A former Pro Wrestling Guerrilla World Tag Team Champion, PAC makes his return to Southern California after near year-long absence, intent on demonstrating to the fans that his time in Japan has improved his wrestling tenfold.
Also making his return to Pro Wrestling Guerrilla will be "The Last of a Dying Breed" Eddie Kingston. Formerly aligned with the now injured Human Tornado, Eddie Kingston returns to Pro Wrestling Guerrilla with no allies and a list of enemies as long as his arm. Will Kingston be able to fend off attacks from all sides, while keeping his disdain for authority (Pro Wrestling Guerrilla management included) in check? If (more like "When") Kingston's explosive temper gets the better of him, will he be able to focus that rage on his opponents, and not the company officials? All Star Weekend 7 is your chance to find out!
With two big returns for All Star Weekend 7 already announced, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla fans will be happy to find out there will be a long-awaited debut, as well! While only 22 years old, Chuck Taylor has gained a wealth of experience in his career's few short years. From the Mid-West to the East Coast and even overseas, fans around the world have been amazed and terrorized by Taylor, and now the fans of Southern California will have their opportunity at All Star Weekend 7!

July 22 Update
With the month of August fast approaching, if our calendars are to be believed, that means that All Star Weekend 7 is fast approaching as well. In little more than one month, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla's two-night event will feature some of the top talent in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, and from around the world, attempting to cement their position as the premiere wrestlers in the industry today.
One man who has already cemented his position at the top is Pro Wrestling Guerrilla World Champion Chris Hero. At Life During Wartime, Hero defeated longtime rival Human Tornado to win the World Championship, and is now looking toward All Star Weekend 7 as the first test of his reign. If Chris Hero is able to successfully defend his title on August 30, Night One of All Star Weekend 7, he will go on to defend his title on Night Two, August 31.
Also putting their titles on the line will be the Age of the Fall, Tyler Black and Jimmy Jacobs, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla World Tag Team Champions. Black and Jacobs used their experience advantage to defeat the impromptu duo of Roderick Strong and El Generico at Life During Wartime, and are intent on proving that their victory was no fluke. As is with Chris Hero, if the Age of the Fall successfully defend the titles on Night One, they will also put the championship on the line on Night Two.
While many fans could easily assume that Chris Hero and the Age of the Fall would defend their titles at All Star Weekend 7, the next competitor announced should come as somewhat of a surprise. For three years, there was a masked man making a name for himself in the professional wrestling world, but it was revealed he was living a lie. This young man was purported to be a happy-go-lucky luchadore, full of pluck, moxy, and grit, but really, he was a deeply troubled individual full of hard feelings and boiling resentment. Wearing a mask in more way than one, if you will. Fortunately for his own mental health, after two and a half years of this charade, Equinox would be unmasked, but unfortunately for the professional wrestling world, Vin Gerard would be revealed. And at All Star Weekend 7, Vin Gerard will bring himself, and the type of mental illness that can only come from spending 22 years in a depressed Pennsylvania coal mining community then pretending to be Mexican for two and a half years, to Pro Wrestling Guerrilla for the first time.

July 25 Update
While we here at Pro Wrestling Guerrilla have taken strides to ensure that All Star Weekend 7 will be different enough from previous All Star Weekends so it will stand out, and give fans a taste of what they might not otherwise be able to experience. The next three competitors to be announced fit in perfectly with that goal.
Ash Riot and Mark Davis are two men that Pro Wrestling Guerrilla fans may not be familiar with, but they are two men that will be given a chance to shine at All Star Weekend 7. Both men are products of the PWA Queensland wrestling school in Australia, where in 2007 and 2008 they have trained under Pro Wrestling Guerrilla World Champion Chris Hero. Hero was happy to hear that the two promising youngsters would be given an opportunity to compete, and endorses their participation in All Star Weekend 7. While we trust the judgement of Chris Hero, we must make due diligence in researching them as well, and in that process we have reached two conclusions. First, we are looking forward to seeing Ash Riot and Mark Davis compete at All Star Weekend 7, and second, by all means, turn on Google SafeSearch when looking up Mark Davis.
The third man to be announced today is one that many fans actually do have an opportunity to see wrestle, however, they don't have the opportunity to see him live. Alex Koslov, who began his career in Southern California, has recently been making a name for himself in Mexico where he has become nothing short of a superstar. This makes scheduling appearances a nightmare for Koslov, since one minute he'll be asked to wrestle, and the next to appear on a variety television program. However, when Koslov was asked to be a part of All Star Weekend 7, he put everything on hold for a chance to return to his old stomping grounds to give the fans, but mostly the locker room, a reminder of what exactly true superstardom is.

July 29 Update
The next two participants to be announced for Pro Wrestling Guerrilla's All Star Weekend 7 will be two competitors making their returns to to company. One has much more experience in Southern California than the other, but that does not diminish the fact that fans will be happy to see them return.
Despite the Friday LA Extreme Night scheduled for early September, and a big tour-ending show in Fukuoka, Japan scheduled for August 31, Dragon Gate has been gracious enough to provide a member of their roster for All Star Weekend 7. Making his Pro Wrestling Guerrilla debut at the 2007 Battle of Los Angeles, and despite his first round elimination at the hands of Dragon Kid, the fans of Southern California were eager to see Susumu Yokosuka return. He did so to great acclaim at All Star Weekend 6, and now, one year after his debut, Yokosuka returns to not only to once again represent Dragon Gate in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, but to prove that he is in the top tier of wrestlers anywhere in the world, and that his early elimination in the 2007 Battle of Los Angeles was just a fluke.
Though only gone from Pro Wrestling Guerrilla for seven months, it feels like Rocky "Azúcar" Romero has been gone for much, much longer. Romero, who began his career in Southern California, has been a major part of Pro Wrestling Guerrilla in the past, and despite his extended stay in Mexico, he hopes to be a big part of the company's future as well. Rocky has stated that he plans on returning to Pro Wrestling Guerrilla with a bang, and what better place to grab attention than All Star Weekend 7?
Over the coming days and weeks more participants will be announced for All Star Weekend 7, and starting in early August, we will begin announcing matches leading up to the event. Be sure to check ProWrestlingGuerrilla.com for lineup updates and ticketing information! Card subject to change.
