I'm very curious as to what Rocky Romero is gonna be doing tonight...everyone else listed in the press release is accounted for. Maybe a SURPRISE GUEST was in the house? Fuck, I hope so.

Damn, I hate being a few shows behind. . . how come it's come down to Chris Bosh vs Scott Lost already?

Anyways, Bosh is taking the title from Joey and then Chris will be the happiest dude outside of SoCal!

Next show looks good. Get AJ and Daniels to lay down like a couple of bitches. If they win, I'll be pissed.

High?! Ha you must be! All they did was put less rows, spread the chairs out, and give away loads of tickets. I guess it doesn't take much to fool a bunch of PWG marks.

PWG house show report 1-17 Los Angeles

by Todd Martin

The attendance was pretty solid given there were less names than usual. Strong show, albeit not as consistently good as PWG

Some thoughts:

-It's great to see a big turnout for a show that wasn't loaded with big names.

-HOT DOGS AND NACHOS! PWG is moving on up. First drinks, then chips, now Nachos and Hot Dogs! Next step, the old guy who sells peanuts at Dodgers games on the Lodge Level.

-Hero and Claudio busting out Lucha spots was awesome. Their match was so amazing. The Flippy Hurrincurana to the outside by Hero was awesome. Hero's moonsault into an armdrag was awesome. Claudio in general was awesome.

-Tornado stepped up his game big time. I thought the match was going to be bad, but him and Joey did an awesome job getting the crowd into the match. I like Joey being these kinds of matches, and it felt really quick too.

-The crowd didn't seem to know what to think during the Bosh/Lost match. Still, despite the lack of crowd heat, the match was fun.

-Dragon punking out those who doubt him=The Dragon I love seeing in PWG. I remember when Dragon would always fuck with Seal Fan, it seems that guy Dragon punked out yesterday is the new Seal Fan in terms of being a target.

-The Powerbomb Lungblower is a great move.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. You make me giggle. I didn't see less rows, I saw more chairs being carried in and people standing by the merch without a place to sit. Gave away tickets to who? Not to you, since I'm sure you weren't there.....so how do you know anything about what the rows looked like or how many people were there?

Trust me we had no idea we were gonna have that many fans last night. Even when I was setting up before the show, I thought there was a shortage of chairs but everyone said it would be a smaller crowd. Guess they were wrong and some people did have to stand for some of the first match. But we got extra chairs so it worked out. At least fans understood and weren't getting angry from what I saw
