This would definitely be a waste of all the new guys in this tournament, but y'know what I'd almost like to see, if it wasn't so unjustifiable, booking-wise? Elgin winning the tournament, by beating Adam Cole and then Kyle O'Reilly in the three way elimination final to win. I'd like to see Elgin win regardless, though.

I really don't want to see Elgin in 3 straight finals, nothing against him personally but he is the last person I want to see winning the tournament.

Of all the names announced, I don't see Elgin winning, there is no need for him to, hes plenty established already.

I can see Trevor Lee winning at least two matches, one of Busick or Gulak will go somewhat deep, Swann, Trent? and ZSJ I cant see going out in round one either

I just hope things are organized so that Gulak wrestles O'Reilly and Sabre, Jr., and O'Reilly wrestles Sabre, Jr. Those matches just really need to happen.

I don't think they would hold off announcing final 8 this long and let the excitement and speculation build up this much without another surprise.

Fingers crossed for John Silver or JT Dunn... and I still have a gut feeling Alex Shelley is in.

Having said that, if we don't get any more surprises, there can be no complaints. The line-up is already extraordinary.

I feel like the last spot announced will either be Super Dragon, Tozawa, or Kenny Omega...and then one other major return (probably Alex Shelley?)
I would assume Chuck, Roddy, Hero, and Cole would be locks.... I think Candice has earned a spot as well... really hoping Ricochet can make it, but if he can't I see that spot going to one of the other regulars (Ciampa, Joey, Fox etc.)
Just please no Joey, Fox, Nese, or Ciampa in the tourney..

As much as I want a Final Surprise Entry, I believe they been all used up. The Final 8 will probably be announced at Eleven, and heres how I have them set up:

- Chris Hero (Part of the Championship match at Eleven)
- Roderick Strong (#1 Contender match at Eleven)
- Adam Cole (#1 Contender match at Eleven)
- Candice LaRae (She deserves a spot in Tournament. Worked her butt off this year)
- Joey Ryan (Well... if Candice is in, so should he. Not to mention, he won BOLA 2010)
- Ricochet (Potential winner of BOLA & a regular in PWG this year)
- AR Fox (Regular in PWG this year)
- Tomaso Ciampa (Regular in PWG this year)

Now, the Wild Card is Kevin Steen. If Kevin Steen is able to be at BOLA, we won't find out until Eleven. If he is in, I would remove Ciampa from my Final 8.

Wow, just 31 combined appearances between the first 16 announced (and just four guys, Sydal, Elgin, O'Reilly and Cage, account for 13 of them)! A lot of guys with little experience means a lot of guys looking to make a mark, right? Interested to see how the remaining 3rd will stack up.

-Busick/Elgin

-ACH/AJ Styles

-O'Reilly/Trevor Lee

-Ricochet/Trevor Lee

-Brian Meyers/Trent?

-Ricochet/Styles

-Gulak/Busick vs Young Bucks

Am I the only one who is looking forward for the multi-man tag team match that will be featured in day two (or day three) of the tournament? I'm always a fan of those.

I know I am. Considering how loaded this tournament is going to be (already is!), putting the twelve first-round losers into a twelve man tag could produce an amazing match! Personally, I hope the last eight are Ricochet, Hero, Cole, Ciampa, Taylor, Strong (breaking El Generico's record for most BOLAs and most consecutive BOLAs, by getting nine), Alex Shelley, and either Timothy Thatcher or Jonathan Gresham debuting.
