I can see a case for 5 of the 8 teams winning. The Best Friends are on a 3 match win streak (4 if you count the 6 man tag from BOLA Night Two), and Chuck Taylor + anyone vs. The Young Bucks is a proven winner in PWG and elsewhere. The Inner City Machine Guns had a killer match against the Bucks in the first round of this year's DDT4, and have never gotten a rematch. Candice and Joey are on a bit of a roll, and beat the Bucks and Steen with Drake as their third man at ASW X. Those are probably the three most likely teams. But there are still two other teams that I think have a shot. The Unbreakable F'N Machines had the shortest title reign in the company's history, and lost it to the Bucks without ever getting a title rematch. Lastly, ACH and AR Fox might have a shot, because of what looks to be a burgeoning feud between ACH and Kevin Steen. An ACH/AR Fox vs. Cole/Steen final with a focus on ACH vs. Steen, with ACH getting the pinfall could continue that.
With the Young Bucks not being in this year, it's looking more wide open than usual. I approve. Kinda hope the two non-tournament matches happen between the semi-finals and finals like they did this year so the finalists get plenty of time to rest up, since I see both of them going fairly long. I guess Ciampa beats Strong to build on his hot start. As far as the four-way match goes, I think there are two ways to go with that one-Drake wins so he gets another shot in March. That would be compelling since he got his only other one-on-one shot in March of this year. The other direction is for Kyle to get his second shot. Hard to call, but I figure they won't give Gargano or Hero the win because it would be too soon for both. Alright, enough fantasy booking.
