That was an amazing match. Willie Mack has improved a ton and working with Hero is only going to make him better. Great way for Hero to give back. No doubt he's been the best guy in the business for a while now. I wonder if those audio errors were meant to happen or if the sound guy genuinely messed up earlier on the show when he played Hero's theme.

Was it better than the BOLA '11 match?

Chris Hero had a promo after his match. He said, "no matter where I go, this will always be my home". I think that was his farewell speech since he didnt have one in BOLA. Thank you Hero.

I dont think the WWE deal is nixed... I just think there may be a delay or snag in things. I think it's dragging on too long for comfort though, hence his down attitude... I hope to heaven they wise up and seal the deal; the world needs to see Chris Hero on a bigger stage.
Like WrestleMania.

After the show I ran into Hero, or, well, he ran into me sorta. So, I asked him. All he said is that they were waiting for some stuff. I'm guessing it's kinda like Danielson's deal, when he was waiting, and retesting and all that.

According to Meltzer, Hero's delay is apparently for medical reasons.

It felt odd to see Hero without Claudio at Final Battle. The two of them are such a package.

I like all three guys but I'm not sure Rave really fits anymore.

Rave didnt have a very lengthy match at Final Battle, and Tomaso Ciampa controlled the tempo most of the match, but I thought Rave looked pretty good, real crisp. He is completely repackaged finally cut off that stupid haircut, and has a good story with his drug addiction, and hes working as a face now, it looks like hes gonna start feuding with the Embasy. Its about time they are actually putting Ciampa against a real opponent, and something thats actually intresting. Also I would love to see Rave Vs. Davey for the title (Because of their history together).

Is Rave really part of the roster though? I see him as a Rhino type, in a way.

I guess we will have to see, I believe the only reason he was droped in 09 is because of his addiction, i would like to see him full time, i guess it depends on if he can connnect with the fans as a face (he couldnt before, but that was WAY back in 04 when he was a generic pretty boy with no back story). At the very least I would like to see have a feud with Ciampa, as Tomaso really hasnt had very many oppertunities to face a real opponent, and I think hes got a lot of potential.

To be honest it may have been a one time deal to get Ciampa over, hopefully not, i feel like that would be a wasted oppertunity...
