HOLY FUCKING SHIT, I LOVE KEVIN STEEN!

Scorpio landed on the guy infront of me, either Scorpio or Joey landed on Goodtime to the left of me, & somebody in that match crashed through the chairs to my right (not in that order).

All that & Steen winning the title after the Young Bucks attacked. BEST SHOW EVER!

Very happy that Kevin Steen is the new PWG champ. There is NO ONE more deserving than that guy, my favorite wrestler hands down.

It has been great that Steen has been back in PWG! He never has a bad match and is super entertaining. Steen vs Pac was MOTN IMO. Steen's verbal interaction with the crowd and Pac was classic. "When I signed up for this match I thought he was still 180 lbs".
"Wait, what you chanting? Wellness? . . . OHHHHHHHHHH" LMFAO.

A Jag with a Lakers avatar?

"Do I know you?" :)

I feel a bit bad for Claudio and Hero. They were super over coming out of BOLA. I think this same match gets over huge if it was the main event of Cyanide. From a pure work standpoint, it was probably the best match I've seen live since the 90s on one of my Japan trips. Very smartly worked, good storyline with the knew. But the crowd just wasn't there for it, a little bit burned out from the undercard (which is happening a lot lately) and wanting more of a spot-fu.

I feel a bit sorry for Pac. The match got over, but 90% for Steen. Pac at times had "WTF?" looks on his face. I love Steen's bullshit in the ring as much as anyone, and think it's one of the most gifted guys around. But unlike say the singles match with Tozawa last year, this one seemed to suck the heat away from Pac and completely onto Steen. I get that's not a bad thing if Steen is your anchor, and at the moment this is Pro Wrestling Steen & Bucks at Legion Hall. But if the promotion is going to use Pac semi-regularly in the future, you'd kind of want to see him shine. Kev usually is much better at making someone look like a king even when he beats then and does all the bullshit, but this one... not so much.

Pretty tough crowd last Saturday. Not tough in the sense of the crowd turning on Joey at BOLA last year. But a tougher than most in the past year, and a bit more narrow in what the wanted to see/enjoy.

I don't get the decision to put Strong & Shelley vs Generico & Richocet on before Avalon vs Taylor. Card hit the skids there, and was entirely predictable that it would. Petey vs Taylor probably should have been tossed after Steen-Pac, then let the tag take us into intermission on a buzz.

I'll also give Joey doing a job.

My first PWG in a looooooong time. Very good work from top to bottom. The crowd was very rough but the beer was flowing heavy that night. I'm happy to see Steen get the strap. Let's hope we can have him match up with some talent. I know El Generico is being set up for a program with Ricochet but I hope to see Steen and Ole mix it up.

Pretty good show, I wouldnt say anything was amazing except the last couple matches but still a good show. Some people in the crowd were really annoying, there were about 3 fans chanting divas match and jobbers at Avalon/Taylor. The "wrestling, yay" thing has to stop, we used to do it once or twice a show, now its multiple times every match, during Hero/Claudio someone did it, imediatly after someone else did it, right after that it happened again. I think Hero/Claudio was match of the night by far I think the crowd wanted to see spots and not a methodical slow building match.

i think the problem with the hero-claudio match was not the lack of spots but the lack of storyline.... almost everyone knew that they were leaving so the match did not have the usual meaning...i thought that due to circumstances the winner may keep the belt for one more title shot and there was no way to make it feel important.
yes pwg is spotfest driven but enuff of the crowd enjoys a well worked match and if every match was a spotfest there would be a higher burn out factor...i also dont mind a few "lesser" matches early in the card to build up to the bigger matches and to keep the budget down...perhaps the travel schedule, where some of the bigger names were taking red eyes, dictated the match order...
please appreciate what we have...no one else delivers like this company...

I liked the hero/claudio match. They know each other so well. Mostly every match in pwg doesn't have a story behind it so I don't see why that would change how the match was viewed. The match that did have a story behind it was Avalon/Taylor. I was there at nwa when they had the hair vs hair match. So only the few that follow nwa knew about it and were hyped. I like how Peter was the heel but you couldn't tell. After that entrance(knocking the beer out of the girls hand and knocking some guys hat off) everybody was pro Avalon

The wrestling chant started to piss me off. To the point I yelled "if I hear that one more muthafuckin time!!" Lol it was great when it was used when they were wrestling technical but for no apparent reason? Their both on that mat.......wrestling...yay! O_o wtf!!!

Oh let's forget about the stupid chants. You are always going to hear stupid garbage at wrestling shows. Let's not focus on that.

I still think PAC alone is worth the price of admission. PAC always gives it his all and is still amazing. PAC looked a little bigger back in 07 but now he has expanded even more and it does not seem to have slowed him down.

I am curious as to what some of the newer folks thought of PAC. Did PAC meet your expectations? Fall under your expectations?

PAC LESNAR!!! lol I have to admit that was funny, yeah PAC looked huge compared to all his vids of the past man. I hope he comes back, he's amazing, wish he would have had more time but I know he had another show the next day as well. I wanna see PAC vs Generico now!

I think Wrestling Yay is a cool chant. Problem is, Californians can't do it right for some reason. However I can totally see how some people may dislike this chant. I don't like O'chet chant at Ricochet, but I can also see how some people may infect enjoy it. I got nothing against the chants, however I have everything against the stupid comments that people make here and there to put themselves over or to simply mock wrestling. The Master lock comments was a clear example of these kind of ignorant bull shit. To me Hero vs Claudio match was a classic, however some PWG fans clearly disrespected it by making retarded comments while Hero and Claudio were putting on a great technical performance. Seems like some fans just want to see spots, and if actions gets slower or technical their attention span just drops. I honestly didn't expect such rude behavior from PWG crowd, I always thought that PWG fans are smart and appreciate technical wrestling and grappling style, I guess not.

Nothing against the wrestling chant, but, as EVERYONE has said, once, maybe twice a night is fine. 5 times a match gets a bitch cracked in the skull (or, one would dream)

The only problem I see with the Hero/Claudio match, is that to slow it down 2 1/2 hours into a show, nearing midnight, is a bit rough on a crowd who may have been hot all night.

You honestly think Reseda building is that hot? Man you Californians are spoiled by good weather, Vegas is freeking hot, Reseda is a breathe. I've been in buildings down south which are much much hotter then Reseda and yet fans still appreciated good wrestling. Fans knew that Reseda building is gonna be a little toasty, so perhaps they should have gone to the beach, a lot cooler by the ocean lol

Hero and Claudio was the main event. Main events should be long. Just admit it dude, fans just want to see spots. Every time guys flying at million miles per hour, they all tap that ring, when they see a headlock, they get bored, no need to sugar coat this. Tell how it is playboy.

I don't think fattalylost was talkin about temperature. I thought kraziebone would know what "a hot crowd" is supposed to mean.

First post, and you are correct, corrector.

But, on an unrelated note, I hate any hot/warm weather. It's the viking in me.

With all due respect, we didn't have "hot crowd" We had crowd that just wanted to see spots. Just because people were drunk and rude, does not mean they were hot!!!

Dude.. seriously. Why don't you stop coming? You obviously can't stand any of the fans there, instead of just enjoying, or not enjoying the matches. Everyone in the midwest is better than us, we all "hate wrestling"

I've tried to be civil, but, you're just actually a tool, and a douche. So, I will stop feeding th troll, this time permanently, cause there's no point in interacting with you, especially on here. I love PWG, I've had some of my best times at the shows, or with the people I've met. So, I'm sorry the entire crowd doesn't orgasm to whatever your jaded wants are.

Maybe Ian Rotten will start making porn, and then you can die a happy man.
