And Punk is the fucking man, what a fantastic main event, booked to absolute perfection and the best Cena match ive seen. One of the best matches this year.
Well, it is not something that I really wanted to do long (on being a viral champion). Fans think it is the greatest thing in the world and I think it would be funny to keep me off of TV as long as possible. I show up at different shows. But the reality of it is Summerslam is right around the corner. And SS is the second biggest show of the year. We need something for SS. So, this obviously is the most logical way to go.
I'm not in it to just make a bunch of money for me. I'm not in just to make it thing better for me. I want to change the whole game. I want everybody to be innovative or creative or at least sought after and talked about. If everybody is over, everybody is making more money, and everybody is watching the show.
Did I come back too soon? Maybe. But until you watch next week you don't know what the explanation is. This would be like...say you're watching Predator for the first time. Jessie The Body dies and he was the coolest guy because he had the big gun. Are you going to get pissed off and go AAARRRGGGH! Jessie The Body died too early! I'm leaving! I don't know maybe some people do. Everybody's an expert. When it comes down to it, nobody knows what is going to happen on Raw next week. That's kind of the idea. Tune in next week and see what happens. See where the story is going. At least that is what I want to get back to.
I think a lot of people are embarrassed about pro wrestling. I don't think anybody needs to be. My goal is to make this shit cool again. It is not just going to be me who does it. It's gonna be me and Cena, Miz, and Mysterio. And that is where the team effort comes in. I want to open this thing wide open again like it was in the late 90s.
