my friend and I drove from Bakersfield, and we waited for two hours and figured we weren't gonna make it in so we went to krispy kreme instead.

Ha Ha, this thread is great.

I, too, got turned away after 1.5 hours in line. Oh well, no one to blame but myself for not buying tickets in advance. I guess its that old school wrestling and punk rock ethos in me that made me think that, since I never needed to buy in advance before, I would be fine.

Glad I just came from Los Angeles (20 minute drive) and, also, that I ate really good BBQ today in Hawthorne (@ the Rib Nest) so I, kinda, won at something.

Just a note from someone who was inside. They ended up moving the merch table to accommodate more people. The place was hazardously packed... which was nuts considering there was a warfare match scheduled and all.

By the way, Scott Lost did thank all of the people who couldn't be let in, or make it in general as well. So, everyone was in his heart!

I showed up at about 6:30 to wait in the ticket buying line. When they started letting in pre-sales, there were staff counting off the people in my line and I was #60. I got in at 9:00 right before the first match went on. By then, they were only seating people in singles so I couldn't sit with any of the homies who I rolled with.

On a side note, for all you dirt sheet marks out there, news of the show turning away people is making the rounds. However, the reports are basically attributing the enormous crowd to Danielson's PWG return. IMHO, that's some questionable reporting that ignores the fact that it was a big time anniversary show featuring the last match of one of this promotion's pioneers - basically information that was front and center on the PWG website for a good month. I understand that a national audience might not grasp this fact and Danielson is no doubt a great wrestler who drew a lot of people, but I think it'd at least be responsible to point these other perspectives out alongside Danielson's return. It's not like the internet is a print newspaper where writers are pressed for time and space to put stories out.

I left the line around 9:30. I think the second match had just started. There were, I would guess, 30 people in front of me and, maybe, 20 behind. So, unless they let people in after the second bout...I'd estimate that over 50 people got turned away.

Our own collective faults though for not buying tickets in advance or getting there at lunch time.

If that's true, then the reporters need their head kicked in. I went for their tag match and the title match.

The two mentions on F4WOnline.com

-- Over 200 fans were turned away from the PWG show Friday and they had to start an hour later after trying to handle the situation with everyone who had bought pre-sale tickets. I believe it was the biggest PWG show of all time.

There are at least 100 people, possibly 200 that were turned away. This was the biggest PWG crowd I've ever seen. The show started over an hour late due to PWG trying to get everyone that bought pre-sale tickets a seat.

They let way more than 25 people in that didn't have presale tickets. There were at least 100 people in front of me in line and I still got in.

I guess they're forgetting the Wrestlereunion show.

I told anyone I knew that wanted to go that they should buy tickets in advance that way they weren't left out in the cold. Luckily I pre-ordered mine and was able to get in and have a seat because the place was PACKED and probably the biggest PWG crowd aside from KurtrusselMania or BOLA. As for the large being due to Danielson, it may have had a SMALL hand in helping but when you factor that Scott is one of the most repsected guys in all of So Cal and you have a Guerrilla Warfare match, people are bound to show up
