Directed by Mark Robson and with a screenplay by George Fox and Mario Puzo, the film starred Charlton Heston, Ava Gardner, George Kennedy, Lorne Greene, Genevi

It scared the hell out of me. I was sleeping and woke up because of the shaking. It must've been the strongest earthquake in recent memory. The only earthquake that I can remember being stronger was the Northridge. I was staying at my uncle's and was surprised to see that he slept right through it. And he was sleeping on the floor!

yeah, good one today (Easter). I was surprisingly calm throughout it. My walls were swaying and my pool was sloshing.

Yeah man. I was outside working on the asado and what not. I was wondering why I was losing my balance. I hope we don't have to endure any vicious earthquakes. Hopefully we can have a few smaller ones instead of a giant one.

My folks and I were about to go out to see a movie when we started feeling the quake. I live down in Chula Vista, which is the southern end of San Diego. It was a nice minute or two of shaking and swaying. The most damage I got was that a couple of my toys fell from their platform. We did feel a slight tremor during the opening scene of the movie (which was How to Train Your Dragon).
