CAPTAIN LOU ALBANO passed away

Postby DjEn3rgy21 » Fri Oct 16, 2009 12:36 am

So I heard this the other day. And well he was an old school guy that I grew up watching but I also remembered him from THE SUPER MARIO BROTHERS SUPER SHOW.

I remember watching him back growing up during the 80s. He was an interesting character in my book.

Rest In Peace

i had the opportunity to write Mr. Albano a letter, after i found his home adress, and i sent him a letter, asking him about masked wrestlers. well he did not answer any of my questions, but instead, he sent me an autographed picture of himself which i thought was great. i will cherish that picture until i die. i also have a friend that was a wrestling manager in WXW, who was friends with Mr.Albano. he took his passing really hard. may Lou be managing in that big ring above. R.I.P.

An entertaining manager indeed. Although I'm a bit surprised you barely heard the news. Albano passed away in October of last year.
