The DVD the Dragon Gate guys were selling was the "Stalker Bom-Ba-Ye" show from November 12, 2006. This was the original Stalker Ichikawa retirement show at Shinjuk FACE in Tokyo. (Stalker would come out of retirement a week later to become Stalker Ichikawa Z)

Was this the DVD with the funny family portrait Stalker cover? How were the miki bean jam filled rice cake eating contest and vale tudo?

Yep. That's the DVD.

The Miki Bean Jam Filled Rice Cake Eating Contest was to see who could eat three the fastest. Akira had an increasingly difficult time eating just one and his Tozawa-juku stablemates at one point tried to beat up Stalker, who was getting through his faster.

The Vale Tudo Rules match was pretty much the two doing what appeared to be a legitimate fight. It was fun seeing Stalker go all out.
