Postby Danzig22 » Sun Apr 01, 2007 2:47 pm

Great to see Scott Lost and Chris Bosh representing PWG in this tournament however it will be a hard shot for them to actually win considering the following teams are in.

2.0

North Star Express

Homicide and Low-Ki

SATs

The Basham Brothers

All Money is Legal

Tracy Smothers and Ricky Morton

The Backseat Boyz

Kevin Steen and El Generico

ian Rotten and Mickie Knuckles

Joker and Sabian

Bj Whitmer and Davey Richards

The Iron Saints

and 2 other teams

Wow that honestly looks like the greatest tag tournament in the history of Indy Wrestling.

I would like to see AMIL go past the first round, and meet Arrogance in the 2nd round.

If AMIL never wrestled again, I wouldn't have a problem with that.

I would, they are fun spot wrestlers and they truly are capable of putting on a good match. They never get the opportunity however, because feds like JAPW and CZW bring them in for 4 team TLC matches or some other form of clusterfuckery.

Stick them in the opening round verse Richards & Whitmer and I GAURANTEE they could have the best match of Round 1.

Also Update: Backseats out, Up In Smoke in.

Billion Match Card? Well PWG did have a pretty ambitious 3 night tourney recently.

And no offense to PWG, but the TPI 06 shits all over the BOLA 06.

Umm PWG split it up into 3 shows to avoid the "billion match card" in which he speaks.

On DVD, I did think TPI came off better than BOLA. But I don't think it was by nearly as wide a margin as people like to claim. Maybe I'm just not an IWA fan, but I didn't care for a good chunk of TPI.

Dunno why IWA fans like to create some kind of TPI-BOLA etc competition. Like fans were only allowed to buy one of them or something.

Also shouldn't this be in General Discussion?

Agreed. TPI is pretty overrated in my mind, and the BOLA vs. TPI debates are annoying. Like, I didn't think TPI sucked or anything, but I really didn't think all the matches were better than the BOLA matches. I like to stay out of those debates, but I'll say that I enjoyed BOLA a lot more than TPI 06. Ki/Akuma was very overrated.

Also, this tournament doesn't look that good. Outside of three teams, I really don't see any teams worth getting excited over.

I am bye no means a IWA-MS fan. I am mainly a RoH, IWS fan but I try to pick up PWG whenever possible. The ONLY IWA-MS I buy is the TPI, I have a few of their KOTDM's also.

I was just saying that TPI is a 2 night tourny, which is far from a billion match card. And that certain PWG fans hate random things like how many matches IWA-Ms has, or how RoH orders matches.

I just feel like PWG fans have really random hatred.

Oh yeah...? Well, uhmmm, your face is ugly! And I hate ugly people just like I hate puppydogs on motivational posters, having less than 72 cents in change at any given time, and those plastic things at the end of shoelaces. So quit saying PWG fans hate random things, cause there is nothing random about puppydogs. :x
