You guys are overthinking it. A toy company complained about a tie being used to choke a guy. Danielson will be back guaranteed, anybody not a maaajor player in that situation would've been fired.

It's stupid what they did, but necessary. It's also not a bad business move because the company makes their toys. You know how much money kids bring in?

uh, yeah, a little...it's Vince McMahon we're talking about. He just got OWNED by a sponsor. It's the principle of it. Must be killing him.

I'm starting think this is a work now.

According to several sources within WWE, John Cena's latest tweet concerning Bryan Danielson's WWE release has garnered Cena quite a bit of heat amongst the boys in the locker room. The general feeling amongst the talent is that they are all part of a major work, as Cena has been curiously outspoken about the release of Bryan Danielson. It is unlikely that a WWE star would ever publicly criticize a decision made by the company, so a lot the guys in the back feel that Cena is in on something that they are not aware of.

I was told that for the most part John Cena's Tweets, as well as many of the Tweets posted by WWE talent, are worked. WWE has told the talent to create Twitter accounts to help reach out to the internet fans as well as help establish the company's online presence.

Amongst speculation that Bryan Danielson's WWE firing was merely a formality, and that he might be brought back after his 90 day no-compete clause expires, John Cena opportunistically decides to post a "rant" about the company's decision to fire him. Red flag alert. Cena has NEVER been critical of a WWE decision in the past, yet he seems to be about this particular managerial choice.

What's funny, if you remember reading the sheets oooo, maybe a month, month and a half before, the whole Drew/Matt feud was going to be based off what we are seeing now. Reports were unclear if Drew was in hot water or not and then Matt was going to get his fans to try to get Drew back in WWE (Drew was fired by Teddy) so he can finish what he started. Now we have Danielson fired and Cena wanting him back. Work or not, I'm still very interested in this whole thing and even if he was fired, if he does decide to resign with WWE when WWE calls him up again, they can spin it however they want to. I mean, the angle last night where Wade called Danielson soft, well, this can be WWE's way of making him a face and teaming with Cena against the rookies?

It's a way for them to have a convenient angle if/when they do bring him back. Most likely he'll be a face at this point, and for good reason.
