although Las Vegas and Los Angeles are also making bids as well but apparently Anaheim has been making the strongest bid once the contract for San Diego ends in 2012http://www.thewrap.com/article/anaheim- ... iego-14574
personally, I would like to see them move the Comic-Con to Anaheim, mostly because its a shorter distance, no offense to Lord Akiyama or anyone else living in San Diego

Hey I would go, it's better to have it in a centralized location then all the way down there. Plus the convention center there is a lot bigger then SDs by a lot.

San Diego is doing a helluva lot to make sure this does not happen. They're even going to expand the Convention Center, but that doesn't take effect until 2015. So the surrounding hotels are throwing in their support by offering space for additional programs, as experimented with last year.
If they move it to Anaheim, I'd be somewhat okay. But Comic Con is practically a San Diego institution. The city will not let it go.
