Curb Stomp in the WWE

Did anyone catch it last night? Must be Paul Birchall's new finisher.

I haven't seen it. But it has impressed a lot of people. On another message board people were wowed by the move, describing it as a surf board stomp to the face. I immediately knew they were talking about the curb stomp. So I notified them of the name and that it was invented by Super Dragon. I even gave them a clip. It's good to know that Super Dragon has the move trademarked. I wish I could get a cut of his royalties.

On a selfish note I was hoping Burchill would get released so there could be a chance we could see him in PWG. I'm sort of surprised Burchill isn't using C-4 as his finisher anymore. Have they given the curb stomp a WWE name?

Looks like he actually put some force behind it, which is a nice change of pace from the wide variety of weak non-SD curb stomps I've seen.

I haven't been blown away by his matches so far. I always feel if you are going to do a squash, theres no need for rest holds in the middle of the match. Umaga does the squash brilliantly, a lot of high impact moves that look like they kill the opponent.

My favourite squashes from back in the day were Razor Ramon ones, he had 3 really cool moves and before hand he used to slap and tease the wrestler he was facing. He made himself look a total badass. I also remember the time when he did a Razors edge and the opponent span on his head.

Anyway back to Paul, his "sister" is hotter than she looked when she was wrestling in England and he didn't use the roll of the dice move this week.

That was only last week, this week he finished Crazy with the stomp.

Heroes Welcome is like the finishing move for ever new Superstar so it got absolutely no reaction.
