No fucking way.
I am too damn amazed by this bracket. Almost all of those matches are damn near perfect in my eyes.
Steen vs Finlay will steal the show, watch.

I have a feeling that this show will continue Steen's streak of wrestling more than once on a single night.

Can't believe it's only one night this year. I could understand if it was the Saturday of Summerslam weekend with it being in LA this year, to capitalize on the extra wrestling fans in town that weekend. Then again, I guess Reseda will sell out regardless. After a two night All Star weekend maybe it was too soon to run another 2 day weekend, but why not save BOLA for November like it used to be then and just do a regular show in August? Just puzzling to me.

I believe its been more August/September event than it has been a November event.

Completely bummed out it isn't Labor Day weekend this year. I know they're doing it early to get Hero & Claudio before they leave, but it's still a downer knowing I'll miss my chance to be there by 10 days.

I do wonder if we'll get a non-tournament matches in here, possibly the Young Bucks defending the tag titles, which is either having Tozawa taking Steen's place to team with CIMA since Steen and CIMA are #1 contenders for the tag titles or have Hero and Claudio go out the 1st round and then have KOW together one last time against the Bucks

WoW!! Awesome line-up...
I know Steen will be the 'favorite' coming in, but imma be rooting for Mack & Edwards.
Claudio/Generico 'tore-shit up' at "KRR2".. I can't wait to see this again.

I agree with El Asain about the non-tournament matches.. i'd like to see at least one in between the final 4 and the main-event.
It gives the finalists some 'breathing' room between matches. Bucks/Dynasty would be great... or what about RockNes (vs) Fightin' Taylor Boys??

Bummer I'm missing this one, I got booked in Vegas. I was so looking forward to BOLA this year. Especially with the line up I see right now. :(

I am actually really happy they changed the format to this year's BOLA to a one night tournament. It is just like the older King of The Rings. I prefer it this way as I thought the first nights of the last two BOLAs were frustratingly tepid in terms of in ring action. I think it will also make the winner seem that much more resilient and worthy of his victory. I was hoping but not expecting this to happen.

I really like the fact that Finlay is in this year's tournament. BOLA needed a new fresh face. I really want to see Steen & Finlay tear down the house!

How so? The winner would have defeated three men in one night. That's the same as the last few BOLA's, the only difference is that he doesn't have to wrestle the day before.

Well, the fact that they have less time to rest. With the past tournaments being two or three nights there was a longer "rest period" if you will. Here the catchers are going to have less time to rest and are going to be wrestling at a more intense pace as the tournament is a single night. Nobody will really be holding back all that much unlike the opening nights in the previous years. So from my perspective this year's tournament will be a little more grueling. That is just one way of looking at things I suppose.

I also wonder what non-tournament matches may be in store if any and who will be in them. Locals? Or some unexpected outside talent?

Weird... sounds awesome, but really weird... only 8 guys? I like that it comes off as more special, there's only 8 possible guys, and we've got a HUGE debut in Finlay, and probably 2 departures in Hero and Castagnoli.

If I'm a betting man, I'd imagine it would go like this...

Mack over Hero
Generico over Claudio

Edwards over Strong
Steen over Finlay

Generico over Mack
Steen over Edwards

Generico over Steen

But this is PWG, so I really have NO idea. Definitely looking forward to this, regaurdless. I definitely wouldn't mind a match like Edwards vs. Hero or Generico as the finals, though. Just saw his match with Hero at Revolution: Canada and it was daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn good. And long, but worth the ride.

Can't wait!

CIMA said at Eight that if anyone would win the tag titles it would be steen & tozawa

I'm ok with it being one night, my wallet is also happy.

On the plus side, this falls right in the middle of my vacation. As is so many shows all of a sudden. The one negative? This would have been the best year to do multiple nights, just for the vacation factor.
