Sounds like a winner to me

CrOwNMeKiNG23 wrote:Not to sound ungrateful or anything, but the show (as amazing as it is) could've used a couple of debuts being that it's All-Star Weekend and all.

It does say night 2 will have more appearances. Kenny Kind, Brian Cage, Ryan Taylor plus more!

So maybe the plus more are debuts and they don't want you ungrateful mofos to complain about them lol Cuz some only wanted big names but some of us love debuts and seeing those that we watch on the socal scene come to PWG

Just because Avalon has a flamboyant gimmick does not mean that he is in the same league with Sky or Joey.

Let's keep the ASW true to its name, All Stars.

The way I see it, in a way, Peter Avalon is picking up where Scott Lost left off. When he left, Scott did pass the perverbial torch to Peter Avalon, he would fit right in with Scorpio Sky and Joey Ryan.

yeah Avalon is a talent, and he's entertaining, but I think he's already being pushed too hard too soon (especially for being a guy who looks to weigh in at a whopping 125 when soaking wet), espcially in other feds... hell, NWA Hollywood had him in a stable with the World Heavyweight Champion and involved in some major TV storylines. He did good in his job, but it was never very believeable he could wrestle/hang with heavys like Cabana etc.

Peter was last years(?) cocal rookie of the year. Of course he is going to get a push....and he deserves it. It's not like they are putting him in the championship race or made him the number 1 contender out of nowhere. Let the man work

Avalon joining Scorpio Sky and Joey Ryan to form the new Dynasty would be great. Every faction needs a guy who can lose any match. I don't mean this in any negative way, but Avalon should never win. The guy is just awesome at getting his ass kicked.

I like Avalon quite a bit, but Kenny King would be a 10 times better fit as a member of The Dynasty at this point. He brings a huge upside in talent as well as name recognition. And it would be a great opportunity for the guy to develop his mic work and character as a regular in PWG. Obviously I don't know if King will be brought back on a regular basis or not right now. But if that's the plan, I say give him the ball to run with.

Why not both? With Avalon, you have security that he'll be there for every show. Meanwhile, you can either keep Ryan and Scorpio as a team or put one of them with King to have a faction with one successful singles wrestler, a tag team and a job guy.

In NWA Avalon was a part of a group featuring Austin Aries and the, then, Worlds champ Adam Pearce. I think that means something more than some who are booked, no offense to any of them, as far as "star" credibility goes.

Well Andrew I mean El Asian, Shotgun Yan is not in PWG. Shotgun Yan was just goofing around having some fun, never claiming to be a pro wrestler. I'm sure with the right training he could have been pretty good but being a real wrestler was never his goal.

I actually do like Avalon, I like his gimmick and I think he is funny. But I agree with whoever said that Kenny King should join dynasty, that would be a perfect fit.
