no deep story...
every year since 2005, usually around Labor Day, PWG hosts a huge elimination tournament spanning multiple nights. Past winners have received trophies, title shots, and the PWG title itself. Just depended on the year/circumstance. Going off memory, past winners (years may be wrong...):
