I'm not going to lie-I'd love to see them make sweet WWE money, but I also want them to stay in NJPW and the indies forever to entertain me. Seems like a troll, really. I noticed Shaun Ricker was one of the developmental talents released today-I kinda wanted to see him in PWG back before he was in developmental, but I dunno now. Some guys come out of WWE experiences worse wrestlers than they were before.

While true and I do agree with that sentiment but at this point, I feel the Young Bucks have accomplished everything they can besides going to WWE, so its probably the next step for them at this point to at least try out the WWE plus maybe this time HBK can convince HHH to give them another look as well as finally patching things up with Booker T

After hearing how great his performances were at EVOLVE this weekend, I have to mention again that Timothy Thatcher really deserves a shot in PWG. I don't know why he never did before.

Alberto Del Rio/Alberto Rodriguez was released by the Big E. Bring him in for a match with Kyle! Alberto is a more aggressive version of O'Reilly and it would be an amazing match.

Actually, that would be interesting and I wouldn't mind seeing Alberto for a few appearances in PWG if possible.

And while one guy is gone from WWE, there is another that recently has shown up in the WWE, Kevin Steen has officially signed with the company and even does an interview with WWE.com and there is even some namedrop to PWG here as well, particularly mentioning the match he had last year at BOLA with William Regal looking on was the reason he got signed

How is Alberto a "more aggressive version of O'Reilly"? Besides the armbar what else do they have in common? I don't get why people like Del Rio he bores me to death.

This. I pray that PWG doesn't waste money booking him.

Well, Alberto Rodriguez is a trained MMA fighter and fought professionally, with his most notable fight against Mirko Cro Cop, which he quickly lost but his overall record was 9 wins and 5 losses, 7 by submission. He was trained by renown fighter, Marco Ruas and has a deep wrestling and ju-jitsu background (sound like anyone we know, oh yeah, Kyle O'Reilly).

In AAA wrestling in Mexico, he quickly established himself as an excellent high-flyer who can easily mix it up on the ground. In the E, he was one hell of a blue-collar wrestler who made others look good.

So yeah, I really think an O'Reilly vs. Rodriguez (Dos Caros) match would be excellent, even if it was just one off.

Just because two guys have trained in MMA doesn't mean they have the same wrestling style. They very different styles. katsuyori Shibata and Kazushi Sakuraba also did MMA, and they also don't wrestle like O'Reilly.

But either way Del Rio would be a colossal waste of money.

Sorry, I had written my response late at night and it didn't mean to be counter-offensive. I, personally think, it would be interesting to see a match because I think they both use an aggressive, stiff style that is heavily mat-based and not the strong-style mat wrestling we see from the likes of Timothy Thatcher, and to a lesser extent, Biff Busick. If the cost was too heavy then it would not be worth it, but I think Rodriguez is a good worker and he would mesh well others plus many workers (with the exception of Sin Cara) gave him praise. Again, he may be asking for a premium since he is leaving the company.

I have never thought of Del Rio as a technical or mat based wrestler. I think of him as someone who works a typical WWE style. He reminds me of guys like Sheamus or even Matt Taven, have good matches, not great, not even really good most of the time, and really don't do anything mind blowing in the ring.

Does anyone have a go-to PWG video that they might use for a laugh or a smile?

O'Reilly has the better arm bar.
